but no watch they’ll come out like [MRA voice] i dont think men are BETTER than women, i just think that men are physically stronger, bigger and are more geared towards logic. women are physically weaker, smaller and more geared towards emotions. this is just biology, people!!!!!! sheesh!!!!!!!!!! stop calling me a “””””””misogynist”””””””

As far as character traits I don’t have a comment. Physical traits however? That isn’t MRAs, that’s science. Sexual Dimorphism is a real thing, it’s common to mammals, and a lot of birds as well. It’s part of why we can tell male and female skeletons apart.

image

Have you ever looked at Olympic results? In almost every competition that is decided strictly on physical traits(speed, strength, etc) The male who places last almost always does better than the female who won gold.

image

But as much fun as it is to deliver simple scientific facts that anyone should know by the end of a 6th grade education, I’m going to talk about how feminists exploited sexual dimorphism in order to achieve their goals.

In the mid-eighties a major focus of feminism was domestic abuse. Well I should say abused women, they were pretty busy covering up/denying evidence that women were equally abusive

image

Denying all the evidence to the contrary, they fought for and won Mandatory Arrest Laws. The idea being to get the dangerous man out of the house, no matter whether the poor female victim wanted him arrested or not. Just another case of feminists deciding they knew better than individual women what was best for them.

These are laws in many states now, they require police responding to a DV call to arrest the aggressor. Now bear in mind despite over 20 studies by 1985 showing that DV was symmetrical, feminists were convinced that it was strictly men doing the abusing. Which is understandable to a degree, back then it was almost exclusively men being arrested in those calls.

However the laws backfired. Instead of the results supporting their narrative, they instead supported the reality they had been denying and while the arrest rate of men got a bump of about 37%, the arrest rate of women in DV calls skyrocketed 446%. Well they were shocked and astounded. These women could not possibly be the aggressors. Arresting these women as aggressor was revictimising survivors of abuse. Their reasoning? The Duluth Model of Domestic Violence.

The Duluth Model was then used in conjunction with Sexual Dimorphism (see we finally got to it!) to craft a set of laws and guidelines for police to use when responding to DV calls. These are Primary/Predominant Aggressor laws/policies.

These laws and policies redefine the legal definition for “aggressor” in one specific setting. Nowhere else is the new definition applied.

These policies are used to find the “true aggressor” in a DV situation. How does it exploit sexual dimorphism? Because the true aggressor in the situation will be taller, heavier, and stronger. Things that automatically point to the male in almost every heterosexual relationship. There are other factors. Like who is the better fighter, who is calm, other things that are more likely to point to the male.

It’s had a real and tangible effect as well. Because of these policies men are better off telling the hospital they fell on the knife their girlfriend put in their chest than get the police involved.

So in the end feminists got what they wanted, and used sexual dimorphism to achieve it. Men are almost exclusively the ones arrested on DV calls. Their only defense is to have video if them sitting still, weathering abuse, asking her to stop, and not even trying to defend himself.

Equality™

And no I’m not an MRA. I just live in the real world where we use facts and evidence.

Aren’t there subjects women tend to do better in than men?  And aren’t there ways of study that each sex prefer, which is why girls are now outpacing boys in education systems?

And lat I checked ‘emotional’ isn’t a bad thing.  It isn’t like we’re fucking stripped of logic and we’re just emotional wrecks, only a moron would assume that.  You know what consists of ‘emotional’?  Empathy.  And you know what that ‘emotional’ nature helps women with, including that empathy?

Being uniters, being negotiators, being motivators, being excellent at business work like Human Resources and Media Relations.  If I remember right, women and men COMPLIMENT the other with their strengths, balancing out the weaknesses.

Heaven forbid we acknowledge that both men and women can be slightly different and we should be working together, rather than acting divisive like the OP is trying to do.  And we shouldn’t be fucking implying that being “geared” for logic or emotion is a bad thing.

Y’know, OP, for somebody who gets mad at people saying women are geared for emotion, you sure did your fucking best to make emotional appeals rather than making logical arguments with facts.

Moron.

First image is from an article published 5 days ago. The rest of the photos are from an article from 2012. Remind me again how the American Association of Pediatrics doesn’t condone circumcision? Oh wait, they do. They just can’t say without a doubt that EVERY male child should be circumcised. They still respect cultural and religious beliefs and understand certain health issues interfere with the idea of newborn circumcision. Unlike other moms though, I’m going to just post this and not say anything further on the topic. I don’t force my beliefs down anyone’s throats, nor do I make it my life mission to spread the word about my personal, 100% biased opinions.

The AAP has benefactors that profit from infant circumcision, of course they aren’t going to stand against it.

And hey, shoving your opinion down someone’s throat is a lot better than carving it into their penis.

What happened to Joss Whedon yesterday, and why it’s a super bad thing for everyone.

Spoilers for Age of Ultron and such.

On the one hand:

I thoroughly enjoyed The Avengers: Age of Ultron, having seen it only once so far. In particular, I liked the character developments they gave to Hawkeye, The Hulk, and Black Widow, and though the film was tonally very different from the first…

This is what I call the Wonder Woman paradox in action: The reason that she may never get a movie is because nobody wants to write the script.

Truth right there.

That’s both disturbing and fucking terrifying.

it got worse

How does it make sense, any logical sense, to claim that speaking about all victims excuses anyone of their violent actions?

- Purple

Cat calling is seen as an act of violence, mistakenly calling someone by the wrong pronoun can be seen as an act of violence, looking at someone can be seen as an act of violence, but domestic or sexual abuse against anyone other than a female isn’t? What about men who identify as female? What about a man in a homosexual relationship being abused by another man? Where would those fall in this view of abuse?

Feminists generally do not give a shit about things like rape or DV unless:

1. The victim is a female.

2. The female was victimised by a male.

3. The victim never uses humour as a coping mechanism.

4. And most importantly of all, the victim is a feminist and therefore can be co-opted and used as a prop or a martyr for feminism.

Fail any one of these four criteria, and feminists will say the most fucking disturbing things to you, such as telling you deserved it or claim you are a liar
